DIMENSION 7---Music from the Multiverse! Who, or what is Dimension 7? What is a Multiverse? Well, Dimension 7 rhymes with heaven (get it?), the ultimate dimension. Dimension Seven spelt out in letters adds up to fourteen (if you are into numerology), also 'Seven and Seven is' / 'Number Fourteen' was the title of a sixties single by Arthur Lee and Love. Both the music and the counter culture of this era inspired the name- 7 being a mystical number and multiples of seven also meaning something... what, we are not sure but it sounded far out! The Multiverse is a term in quantum physics for all possible universes and we trade with collectors and dealers across a billion galaxies.........!! ? Seriously though , it is a name we thought of back in 1987 (which we have just noticed, is a year that reduces to 7, if you add the numbers together- odd or what? ). If you have seen other D. Seven's on the Internet -we were one of the first to use the name, firstly at record fairs then mail order. As for who we are, well it consists of me Jan (or if you prefer, Ian) and friends and consultants Keith, Chris and Jocelyn.

Our backgrounds are Anglo-Irish- Polish-Canadian (with a bit of Scottish and French in our descent too, but as far as we know, no Extra-Terrestrial DNA!) Our collective experiences and knowledge of music go back to the sixties (which at least some of us remember, precisely because we were there). We are collectors first and foremost, dealers second. This is an extension of a hobby and not a full time occupation. We have an established reputation for reasonable, realistic prices and quality. There are always far more customers for each rare item, than we have copies- hence our guarantee. Our private collection is not yet for sale but will form the backbone of our sound archive. Lastly, yet again we are concentrating on vinyl because that is what most of our collectors want, but we will gradually build up a sale stock of rare CD's too.
